Proposal Event – Exploring Community Interest

Help bring Skyfire to Townsville

The Townsville Skyfire Spectacular is a major event concept being explored for Townsville and visitors across North Queensland: waterfront fireworks, choreographed lasers, live regional entertainment, family activities and corporate hospitality along Cleveland Bay. Because this is strictly a feasibility and community-interest stage, no dates have been confirmed, no tickets are on sale, and no government approvals or venue permits have been granted.

Indicative 2–3 year planning window

Vision & Feasibility

Townsville Skyfire Spectacular badge

Townsville has one of Australia's finest tropical foreshores. This proposal examines whether North Queensland can host a waterfront celebration comparable to premier national events. We are investigating crowd logistics, environmental and marine management, noise mitigation for pets and wildlife, safety cordons, traffic management and financial viability through regional sponsorship. This website is not an announcement of a locked-in event; it is an open invitation to help assess community appetite.
